Good Afternoon,

I hope you enjoy these photos of my trip through Texas on my 48 state trip.
I met Jerry (tractor and ranch owner) 66 Maroon , like I will meet some of you, because of my post. I stayed on the Ranch for a few days and got to play with the cows. Texas is a very big state and would take a whole day and night to cross east to west.

What kind of hat do I wear in Finland ?

Stetson is OK,looks great, protects from sun and rain!!!!And if you like to meet Santa Claus during your trip,You have to visit Rovaniemi, the hometown of Santa, located just 5 miles south from the Arctic Circle. We have about 20 vettes here, but unfortunately the only C-2 moved south last summer so we have to deal only with pair of solid axles, few sharks and dozen of C-4and C-5 generations.Anyway if You pass by Rovaniemi,my house is open for you(cold beer in the fridge and so on....)

You might want to take your woolly hat with you Jack. ;-) Nothing like open top driving with -30C temperatures.

from oulu you have to drive about 80 miles to north to town called tornio and that's right next to border of sweden.
and to norway is quite far away some 800 kilometer to north from oulu and little less through sweden
and rovaniemi is another 80 miles to north from tornio
