64sen vesipumpun bypass yhde imusarjaan

Vesipumpun "katolta" pitäis mennä vesiletku imusarjan päätyyn, omassa ei kyseistä yhdettä ole, pitäis vissiin laittaa ? Mikäs ton tarkoitus on, kierrättää vettä lohkossa/kansissa ennenkuin termari aukeaa ja seuraukset jos ei kierrä ? Oliko tämän ikäisissä(1964) lohkoissa joku plommattu kanava vesipumpun takana ja kun toi yläpään bypass yhde on poistettu, niin kyseinen plommattu kanava pitäis olla auki.

Jos kaikki reiät ynnä lämppäri ovat tukossa, pumppu voi kavitoida kiekoilla. In absence of this bypass, the extra hole on the passenger side of the block allows coolant to return to the water pump to circulate water in the right hand bank of the block. If it is plugged, AND there is no bypass hose from the intake manifold to the top of the water pump, AND there is no circulation through the heater core, the flow will be blocked to and from the water pump and it will cavitate when the rpm is raised. Only if there is an inlet-manifold-to-water-pump-bypass, can the lower hole in the block be plugged.
