Ilmeisesti alkaa SS:n tulo markkinoille olemaan totista totta. On itse asiassa tulossa 2 uutta versiota. yksi 450hp LS8 rallimalli, jota saa sekä automaatilla ja manuaalilla.
Ja versinainen SS tulee olemaan LS9 ahdetulla moottorilla varustettu ohjus, jota saa vain poikien vaihteilla. LS9 tulee olemaan tilavuudeltaan pienempi kuin Z06:n 427ci, mutta tehoja on tulossa YLI 600hv, eli C6 on osoittautumassa aikamoiseksi vauhti aikakaudeksi Corvetten historiassa, näyttää se sitten nissanilta tai ferrarilta, niin nopea Corvette se on joka tapauksessa!
