A last test fail (current DTC) clears when diagnostic runs and does NOT fail.
History DTC clears after 40 consecutive warm-up cycles, if this or any other emissions diagnostic does NOT fail.

Use a Scan Tool to clear MIL/DTC.

Diagnostics
Remove any debris from PCM\TAC module CON surfaces. Inspect module CON gaskets for correct instllation (prevent water/contaminant intrusion).

Intermittents caused by:
Mis-routed harness
Rubbed through wiring insulation
Broken wire inside insullation

Use a Scan Tool to check values.

This again is a very common intermittent communication failure issue. If this code sets more than 3 times in 1 minute, then the MIL comes on, and you get the dreaded "Reduced Engine Power" message, and your car turns into a slug.

This is a protection mechanism designed to prevent your car from dying in traffic. cycling the ignition after being off for 20 seconds usually restores normal operation.

Most likely you need to clean the contacts between the PCM and the TAC (throttle actuator control module) These contacts are right under the battery, so battery fumes can affect them. Worse case is that your TAC itself is going bad (about $270 bucks).

I would leave it alone for now and just watch it.

Alla tietoa mutta voi olla ettei osu kun et kovin tarkkaan laittanut mitä oireita on ?

Luistelun esto piirivika(väännön rajoitus). Eli pcm pukkaa 5 v jännitteen tuonne ebtcm. Ebtcm vääntää sen kanttiaalloksi joka on verrannollinen luistoneston määrään. Pcm käyttää tätä signaalia sitten tiputellakseen ennakoita jne. vähentääkseen tehoja tarvittaessa. Jos vika tulee päällee, ei pcm saa tota kanttia takaisinkytkennästä.

Stage 1 Tarkista maadoitukset ja putsaa liittimet olis se ensimmäinen toimenpide.

Stage 2 on käydä noi allaolevan linkin juotokset läpi jos ei tokene. Tämä onkin sitten isompi jumppa ja pätee useampaan eri vikakoodiin.

Näköjään on jenkkilässä tiedossa että vm 97-98 tuo piirin valvonta on ollut liian herkkä ja vikakoodia tullut vaikka autossa ei sinänsä ole vikaa. Tässä tapauksessa sen vikakoodin saa pysyvästi veks hptunersilla tai efilivellä.
