Well I don't see how it could possibly suck up more debri. For one, it's a smaller opening. Two, it's pointed forward and not down towards the road debri.

Thats what keeps it from sucking up things... Last time I looked, I had ZERO debris in my rad area... I have been running this unit for over 1000 miles now... long trips and road course time too...

Here is another install and what the corvette forum member had to say !

Eric

It's beautiful here today, so I washed the Vette. I have attached some pictures I just took that show the Big Mouth AIr Dam. I'm sorry they're so big but I figure if you want to use them, you can resize them. I love the BMAD, it has really made a difference in how cool the Vette runs. Like I said previously, I'm waiting to see what happens this summer.

Here is a picture of a Zr-1 and what the owner had to say about the Big Mouth after install , I just got an e-mail from Cemal :

Eric, due to my mods on the radiator and the thermostat my engine would not go before beyond 205 degrees Fahrenheit in the hottest weather. Now, the other day it had 70 degrees ambient temp and the engine got to 195 degrees at the stop light, and back down to 185 degrees after driving a mile in the suburban traffic..... 50 Mph. My electric fans turn on at 189 and turn off at 180 degrees below 35 Mph of speed.

Yes it works, you did good.

CEM.
